FRIENDS OF CHILWELL CROFT ACADEMY

Friends of Chilwell Croft Academy are a group of parents with common experiences and goals, working with and supporting Chilwell Croft Academy and the community in general.

Friends of Chilwell Croft Academy meet on a regular basis during the school year to plan, organise and facilitate various events such as fund-raising and social activities. We also use these opportunities to share experiences and information with each other; thus leading to increasing enrichment and fellowship within our community. Our coffee mornings and summer fairs have been well supported.

Children in Need-Friday 17th November 2017

Pupils from our school were invited to dress down for the day and donate shop bought or home baked cakes. Our kitchen staff baked some wonderful cakes and biscuits to supplement the donated cakes to enable us to sell the wonderful treats during morning break and after school.
Friends of Chilwell parents and some school staff actively sold cakes and raised the following funds for our school and Children in Need!

Cake sale: £324.66
Dress down contributions: £175.67

Total raised: £500.33

Half of the funds were sent to the Charity Children in Need and the remaining half has been banked into the FoC fund.

Dress down day: Wednesday 13th December 2017
All pupils were invited to dress down on the day of the school disco Wednesday 13th December 2017.
Donations collected were £261.50. The funds raised were split between the school and the Variety Children’s Charity as they fund a number of our school trips.

Peter Pan theater event: Tuesday 20th February 2018
Jaguar Society Club have once again offered us the opportunity to purchase theater tickets at a hugely reduced price.
Tickets per person including return transport to and From Sutton town Hall are being currently sold from the school office at £8 a ticket.

Coach cost 70 seat : £275.00

Cost of 120 tickets : £240.00

Total: £515.00

Funds raised through ticket sales: £651.00

Profit made: £136.00

Dress down day: Thursday 1st March 2018.
All pupils were invited to dress down on the day to celebrate world book day.
Donations collected were £137.85.
